About P9e

A holding company whose real asset is one engineering bench.

P9e Microsystems Pvt. Ltd. is a deep-tech group based in Hyderabad. Three separately branded companies — Vyovrinda in aerospace, Sasyaveda in agriculture, Savithru in energy — sit alongside our own divisions in enterprise software, smart infrastructure and industrial automation. None of them carries its own electronics or firmware team. That is the whole design.

Vision

To be the engineering group that industrial, aerospace and enterprise organisations trust with the systems they cannot afford to get wrong.

Mission

To build platforms once, to a standard no single business unit could justify alone — and to hold every system we ship to a deadline it actually meets.

Why we build this way

Determinism first.

A multirotor is aerodynamically unstable. It stays in the air only because a control loop closes on time, every time. Miss a deadline and it does not degrade gracefully — it falls.

That is the discipline we build everything to. Bounded latency, reproducible behaviour, and a documented response to every failure — in flight firmware, in plant control, in the platforms our divisions share. It is a harder engineering standard than 'usually fast enough', and it is the reason the same bench can serve an airframe, a substation and a farm.

  • Bounded, not average

We specify worst-case timing, not typical timing. A system that meets its deadline 99.9% of the time has an undefined failure mode.

  • Reproducible by construction

The same inputs produce the same outputs, so a fault can be replayed, understood and fixed rather than guessed at.

  • Fail into a known state

Safe mode on a satellite, return-to-home on an aircraft, a fail-safe open contactor on a battery pack. The same idea, three altitudes.

Why the deadline is the specification

Both systems are fast on average. Only one of them is correct. In a control loop the deadline is not a performance target — it is the boundary between working and failing, and a system that meets it 'almost always' has an undefined failure mode.

How to read thisEach bar is one cycle of the control loop. Its width is how long that cycle took to compute. Each dashed line is the moment that cycle had to be finished by — its deadline.Deterministicboundedone cycle's workEvery cycle finishes before its line. The worst case is specified up front, not discovered later.Best-effortusually fasterthis cycle ran past its deadline — and made the next one late tootimeBeyond that point the system has no defined behaviour. A multirotor in this state does not slow down. It falls.
How the group works

The holding model, in four rules.

A holding company is only worth the thing it holds in common. Ours is engineering capability, and these are the rules that keep it shared rather than quietly re-created six times.

  1. 01

    One bench, not six teams

Electronics, embedded firmware, control engineering, software and test sit in one pooled organisation. A unit draws on it rather than hiring its own — which is the only reason several deep-tech businesses can run at this size.

  2. 02

    Platforms before products

Anything two units would otherwise build separately becomes a shared platform, funded centrally. Thirteen of them now carry the group's firmware, fleet, data and interface layers.

  3. 03

    Domain knowledge stays local

Vyovrinda knows aerospace, Sasyaveda knows agronomy, Savithru knows energy. The bench does not pretend to — it builds what they specify, to a standard none of them would set alone.

  4. 04

    One governance standard

The same technical standards, test standards and review gates apply to a farm controller and a satellite subsystem. Only the qualification level differs.

What we believe

Precision Engineering, Powered by 9 Pillars of Excellence.

Nine outcomes, each standing on a practice. They are what the engineering is held to, and they are the same nine whether the system is a farm controller or a satellite subsystem.

We believe in Excellence through Perfection, Expertise through Proficiency, and Efficiency through Productivity.

Our Effectiveness drives Performance, and our Evolution fuels Progress.

Through Empowerment and Partnership, guided by Ethics and Principles, sustained by Endurance and Persistence, and grounded in Empathy and Purpose — we engineer intelligence that matters.

Nine pillars

Nine outcomes, each standing on a practice. The entablature is what they hold up; the foundation is the bench they all rest on.

  • 01Craft

    Excellence

    through Perfection

Right the first time, because a control system does not get a second commissioning. Factory acceptance testing before site, qualification before flight.

  • 02Craft

    Expertise

    through Proficiency

One deep bench rather than six shallow ones. Electronics, firmware, control and software practised often enough to stay sharp.

  • 03Craft

    Efficiency

    through Productivity

Build once, reuse everywhere. Thirteen shared platforms exist so no unit pays twice for the same foundation.

  • 04Outcome

    Effectiveness

    through Performance

A system that meets its deadline, not one that averages well. Bounded behaviour is the measure that matters.

  • 05Outcome

    Evolution

    through Progress

From a product practice to a deep-tech group. New disciplines are entered from the near end and declared honestly.

  • 06Character

    Empowerment

    through Partnership

Customers get the source, the pipelines and the documentation. Engineers get a named mentor and a real project from week one.

  • 07Character

    Ethics

    through Principles

We say what we can evidence and what we cannot. Two of our declared directions are labelled research, not services, for that reason.

  • 08Character

    Endurance

    through Persistence

Systems we ship run for a decade. We design, document and support them with that horizon in mind, not the handover date.

  • 09Character

    Empathy

    through Purpose

Built for the operator at 3am, the grower in the field, the engineer holding the spanner. Intelligence that matters to someone.

What we hold to

Four things we will not trade away.

Say what the system will do

Specifications before slideware. If we cannot write down what a system must do and how it will be tested, we are not ready to build it.

Own the whole stack

Silicon to screen. When one group answers for the firmware, the network, the control logic and the application, the integration risk stops being someone else's problem.

Engineer for the tenth year

Our systems run in plants, data halls and orbit for a decade. We design, document and support them with that horizon in mind.

Say plainly what we cannot do

Two of our declared directions are research positions, not services, and the site labels them that way. A claim we cannot defend costs more than the work it wins.

How we got here

From a product practice to a deep-tech group.

  1. Formation

    A software and electronics practice

P9e is founded in Hyderabad as a product engineering firm building web, mobile and embedded systems for Indian and international customers.

  2. Growth

    Infrastructure and automation

The practice extends into managed infrastructure and industrial control, taking on SCADA, telemetry and plant automation programmes.

  3. Group

    Deep-tech companies form

Vyovrinda, Sasyaveda and Savithru are established to take the group's engineering into aerospace, agriculture and energy under their own brands.

  4. Today

    A shared platform underneath

The bench consolidates into a shared technology platform, and P9e operates as a holding company rather than a services firm.

Group structure

Who sits where.

Companies carry their own brand and market. Divisions run under the P9e name. Both draw on the same bench and the same platforms.

One bench, six markets

Each company and division owns its domain expertise, certifications and customers. None of them carries a separate electronics or firmware team — that capability is shared, which is what makes several deep-tech units viable at once.
