Ground Station Platform

A ground station and a ground control station are the same thing at different link budgets. Vyovrinda stewards one platform that plans passes and sorties, decommutates telemetry, and issues commands under authority controls — serving a quadcopter, a high-altitude platform and a satellite from the same console.

How determinism shows up here

Command paths are validated and logged end to end. An irreversible action requires two people, by construction rather than by policy.

What it does

Inside the platform

01

Pass & sortie planning

Orbital pass prediction and flight planning in one scheduler, because both are the same question: when can I talk to it, and for how long.

02

Telemetry ingest & decommutation

Frame decoding, parameter extraction and limit checking against a defined telemetry dictionary.

03

Commanding with authority controls

Command validation, and two-person approval for actions that cannot be undone.

04

Mission replay

Full recorded state, replayable — so an anomaly is analysed from evidence rather than recollection.

How it fits together

The shape of the work

Air segment, ground segment, and what we supply to orbit

The vehicle is only half the system. Mission planning, the command-and-control link, and the data pipeline behind it are engineered as one — and the same electronics bench builds subsystems for small-satellite programmes.

Ownership

A domain platform, stewarded by Vyovrinda — the unit with the deepest knowledge of the problem. P9e owns it and licenses it across the group; stewardship is responsibility for maintaining it, not ownership of it.

How we decide what is shared

Building something that needs Ground Station Platform?

Tell us the constraints and we will come back with how this platform would carry them — or say plainly if it would not.
